Baking Soda is an excellent way to clean your hair! It naturally strips oil, softens hair, and removes toxic build up.

Ingredients:

-1 tbsp baking soda
-¼ cup water
-*double if hair is longer than shoulder length

Directions:

1. Before taking a shower, mix together the baking soda and water in a small bowl until it becomes a paste.

How to Use:

In the shower, rub paste into you scalp/hair. Allow to sit for a couple minutes and then wash out.

Notes:

Because store-bought shampoos strip out scalps of the natural oils, you may notice an increase in oil production once you begin using an all-natural DIY shampoo. Your scalp will get used to the natural products within the first few weeks but everyone should be warned about this “transition period.” Do not get discouraged!
