Color your lips with beets! Either purchase dried beet powder, or make your own with a dehydrator (read directions below).

Ingredients:

-1 tsp Almond Oil
-1 tsp Beet Root Powder
-1 tsp Shea Butter

Directions:

1. Place almond oil and shea butter in a small glass container.
2. Fill a small pot with a couple inches of water and start boiling to low-medium heat.  Place your glass container inside the pot (this is double boiling!).
3. Once your almond oil/shea butter has melted, turn off the stove and remove the glass container.
4. Add in beet root powder.
5. Pour mixture through fabric/coffee filter to strain out any gritty particles. You may need to repeat this process a couple of times.
6. Pour into tiny glass jars and allow to completely cool.

HOW TO MAKE BEET POWDER:

1. Slice beets with a mandolin slicer (or sharp knife) as thin as possible and place side by side in dehydrator. Set temperature to 100 degrees and let dehydrate for 8-10 hours.
2. Once completely dried, use your hands to crunch of the beet chips and place in coffee grinder. Pulse until a fine powder.

How to Use:

Apply to lips as often as desired.

Notes:

Not only can you use this on your lips…but you can also use it on your cheeks!
