Stop buying expensive body lotion and make this simple body butter instead! A little bit goes a long way!

Ingredients:

-1/2 cup olive oil
-1/4 cup coconut oil
-1/4 cup beeswax
-2 tbsp Shea Butter
-1 tsp Vitamin E oil (optional)
-15-20 drops of Essential Oils or Vanilla Extract (optional)

Directions:

1. Place olive oil, coconut oil, beeswax and shea butter in a double boiler, or make your own with a large glass jar (with a lid) and place the jar in a medium pot with a couple of inches of water. Turn heat to medium and allow ingredients to melt.

2. Once the ingredients start to melt, carefully shake the jar to incorporate the contents.

3. After everything is completely melted, remove from heat and mix in Vitamin E & Essential Oils (optional). Pour the liquid product into an 8 oz mason jar/tin/old container.

How to Use:

Rub lotion onto hands/body/feet. Use as often as desired!

Notes:

-This recipe is thick and will NOT work in a pump bottle.
-If you prefer whipped consistency, then I'd recommend using a hand mixer after the lotion hardens. You can then scoop into mason jars.
