A perfect homemade gift over the holidays! Invigorate the senses by soaking in a peppermint bath.

Ingredients:

-2 cups Epsom salts
-½ cup sea salt
-20 drops of peppermint essential oil
-5 drops red soap colorant (optional)

Directions:

1. Pour 1 cup of Epsom & 1/4 cup of sea salt in a medium size bowl (this is half of the total salts in this recipe). Add 10 drops of peppermint essential oil. Mix well.
2. In another bowl, combine another 1 cup Epsom & ¼ sea salt. Add 10 drops of peppermint essential oil, along with the 5 drops of red soap colorant. Mix well.
3. Carefully layer the red and white salts in a clear container.

How to Use:

Pour directly into warm bath water. Soak in tub for 15-20 minutes.

Notes:

-I don't recommend using regular food coloring as it can stain your tub
-Feel free to skip the coloring - this recipe is great without it.
-Decorate your salt containers with ribbon and small candy canes!
-You can use peppermint extract in place of the essential oils.
