Homemade lotion bars are simple & fun to make! They make great gifts for Christmas/Birthdays/Valentine's Day. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

-½ cup coconut oil or sweet almond oil
-½ cup shea butter
-½ beeswax
-20 drops essential oil
-½ tsp Vitamin E (optional)

Directions:

1. Place oil/shea butter/beeswax in a double boiler (or place ingredients in a large glass container with a lid and put in a pot with a couple inches of water). Slowly melt over medium heat.

2. Once thoroughly melted, remove from heat and pour in essential oils and Vitamin E (optional). Stir until combined.

3. Pour mixture into molds / muffin trays. Allow to harden for a few hours and then pop them out of the molds.

How to Use:

Rub lotion bar directly into skin. The heat of your skin will melt the bars!

Notes:

-I used Lavender Essential Oil to make "Lavender Lotion Bars" but you can use any scent. I think lemon/orange would be really nice during summertime.
