Prefect for inflammatory skin conditions (eczema/acne/psoriasis), the Turmeric Mask is loaded with antioxidants that diminish wrinkles, exfoliate skin, and reduce pigmentations.

Ingredients:

-2 TBSP flour
-1 TSP turmeric
-3 TBSP milk or yogurt
-A few drops of honey

Directions:

1. Blend flour and turmeric together.
2. Slowly add milk (or yogurt) until you get a thick paste consistency (approximately 3 tbsp).
3. Add a little bit of honey. Stir well.

How to Use:

Apply a thin layer to your face and let dry for 20 minutes. Wash off with either a washcloth (which you don’t mind staining) or hop right in the shower.

Notes:

-Any extra can be stored in an air-tight container in the refrigerator. Use within a few days.
-Turmeric will stain, so make sure you're really careful OR wear a shirt that you don't mind staining.
-Your face should not stain if you apply a thin layer of the mask. However, if you see the yellow glow, don't worry...it will fade in ~12 hours. I recommend doing this before bed (and put a towel down to protect your pillowcase).
