Loaded with shea and cocoa butter, this rich lotion will leave your skin moisturized & nourished! I love the consistency of this whipped body butter!

Ingredients:

-1/2 cup cocoa butter
-1/2 cup shea butter
-1/2 cup coconut oil
-1/3 cup almond or jojoba oil
-1 tsp Vitamin E (optional)
-20 drops of essential oil (optional)

Directions:

1. Combine cocoa butter, shea butter, coconut oil and almond/jojoba oil in a double boiler.

2. Carefully stir every couple of minutes until completely melted (it'll probably take 10+ minutes).

3. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in Vitamin E Oil and Essential Oil (optional). Let sit for 5 minutes.

4. Put a cover on mixture and place in refrigerator for ~1 hour. Once the mixture starts to solidify, remove from the fridge.

5. Using a hand mixture, whip the body lotion for 10 minutes. You'll notice it changes consistency many times during the 10 minutes.

6. Return to the fridge for 10 minutes.

7. Pour into a mason jar or glass container! Enjoy!

How to Use:

Rub into body as often as necessary!

Notes:

-Peppermint is a great essential oil to use in this recipe (especially in winter). I also like to use sweet orange essential oil!
-If you prefer your body lotion to be more oily, then use 1/4 cup of almond/jojoba oil.
